Brooklands Hotel & Spa

I booked a weekend away for my boyfriend and I at Brooklands Hotel and Spa from the 9-10 July 2016.

We arrived around 14:40 on Saturday, check-in is at 15:00 – but we were able to go straight up to our room.

I booked a Deluxe room – and for only £20 extra to upgrade to a track facing Deluxe room – it was a no brainer. My boyfriend is a massive petrol-head so it was a lovely addition and I was surprised at the little cost of the upgrade.

The room was very spacious – and my favourite bit has to be the fact you can listen to the radio or your own playlist from your phone whilst in the shower!

The spa is located on level 3 of the hotel, and the customer service was excellent!

Treatments were a little pricey – £42 for a 25 minute massage – but the relaxing atmosphere was worth it.

You can also pay £10 to have a dual room – which my boyfriend and I did. It was a nice extra as it meant we were able to spend more time together and look at how cosy the rooms are:

I had a Divine massage and an express facial – both of which the therapist asked what areas were of concern for me – and advised me after the treatment which products she used, so she wouldn’t disturb me whilst I relaxed!

The meditation room is also a must! You can book a free, 20 minute slot at the Spa reception. The whole room is dark, with water beds and subtle changing lights – the key to relaxing! My boyfriend was so relaxed he fell asleep on me!! does a Ross and draws on his face in permanent marker

But..

My highlight has to be the hot-tub on the balcony overlooking the Mercedes Benz track . It’s big enough to fit 12 people, and it’s such an intimate touch. My boyfriend said this and the track facing room were the highlights for him – so if you plan to take a car fan – then definitely do this to shut them up!

There’s a restaurant located in the hotel and the food is outstanding. All the staff are so attentive without being annoying.

My boyfriend and I have agreed it was a well needed weekend away – and although we only stayed for one night – we’d definitely do it again.

There were couples, friends and families of all ages – so I’d recommend this to anyone.

Check out the Brooklands Hotel website for deals and packages which may work out cheaper.

Let me know if you’ve stayed in a hotel or spa you’d recommend – as my boyfriend and I want to try as many as we can!
